We visited you for the first time in October 2009 and Just found your website in looking to book to come again, we had such a lovely experience last time we came, we really can't wait to come back!! Cameron in particular is constantly on about 'when are we going to the farm hotel again? I want to see Sam!'
I couldn't recommend you highly enough - even though it may be begrudgingly letting people in on one of the special places we want to keep to ourselves :-)

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at your lovely farmhouse, which we througherly enjoyed. Mary and Steven are perfect hosts and made us feel extremely welcome nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was perfect with everything you could possibly want and more, Mary has thought of every little detail which makes for a super stay .Breakfast was delicious and certainly kept you going until tea time, Mary prides herself on using local produce and even bakes her own bread.
The scenery is beautiful, very peaceful just a perfect place.

My horse Basil was so relaxed and chilled he really was happy at your farm and he loved going into the stables when it was really hot, nice and cool for him in there. every one so friendly and you sure make a good cup of tea... thats our second time we have stayed and hope to come again one day. thank you from susan hillier and basil (my horse)

Thanks for a super fantastic 3 night stay! We've all enjoyed it, parents even managed to switch off at times. Harry has loved playing on the farm and watching Steve hard at work. The breakfasts were very tasty, certainly gave us a good start to the day. Our room (Badger) was more than comfortable, lots of space for our family of four and a huge bed!!! Lovely views from the bedroom windows.
Jon enjoyed getting stuck in with Steve this weekend helping with the sheep shearing, certainly shows us a different way of life. It was lovely to see you all again, and to introduce our new addition to you. Alexander enjoyed cuddles with Auntie Mary.
Thank you for looking after us, we were made very welcome, home from home. Thanks for your warm hospitality

Well we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else up in the Shropshire/Welsh borders. We've been twice, in winter and summer and were taken in like part of the family. Mary and Steve and young Sam have a lovely home on a working farm with the most amazing views of breathtaking beauty you can imagine, high on a hill with a charming drive up a hedgerow lane. We loved watching the buzzards and red kites from our window up in the Owl room. Lovely linens and soft big towels, Mary knows how to make you feel pampered. Iron and ironing board provided to help me get ready for a night out. Bishop's Castle has some great food, by the way. But save some room for Mary's generous breakfasts of delicious local foods with fresh eggs and baked bread! Molly will give you a neigh, Sammy the dog will welcome you and keep an eye on everything and Miss Piggy may give you a grunt if you rub her the right way. What more could you ask for? A most delightful place to stay. Thank you Mary and Steve too for your thoughtful conversations, you are very caring and special people.
