Well what can I say! We arrived at Middle Woodbatch and from then on we did not want to go home. Mary, Steve and little Sam made their home our home. Their kindness and willingness to help was overwhelming.
The horses were all settled into their respective areas, which again Mary and Steve came out to help us put up fencing, when they could have been having a well earned cuppa!. We then all moved our stuff into the beautifull rooms at Middle Woodbatch and looked forward to our first ride.
The riding from Middle Woodbatch is stunning, I would say however horses need to be fairly fit as it is hilly, however we still survived on unfit horses, and you can plan your route accordingly, there are lots of options for you to choose.

The peaceful environment of the farm seemed to relax the horses and the days just went all to quickly. Some of us were quite emotional at having to leave as we had been looking forward to this break for some time and Steve & Mary could not have been better host's in fact now im sure firm friends.
We can't wait to return and explore more of this beautiful countryside and spend time on the farm, relaxing in gorgeous rooms and taking in the surrounding area. Middle Woodbatch Farm has everything you need to be at peace with the world before going back to the hustle and bustle of daily life.. your horse will enjoy it too!!.
So a big thank you go to Mary & Steve for making our stay such a special one, we all loved it so much. Theresa, Penny, Sue, Barbara, John & Louisa.
